Start spreading the news . . . I’m  leaving today . . . I want to be a part of it….. New York, New York . . .

It is already the first of April, could November be far behind? No joke, if you are interested in taking a bite of the Big Apple with Plaid for Women’s Fearless Travel group now is the time to secure your spot with a $100 deposit.

If you have not heard about the trip, let me tell you about it. Plaid For Women’s “Fearless Travel with Trich” is excited to be headed to New York City November 6th through November 10th, 2013. We will be spending four nights at The Hilton New York. The trip will also include two fabulous Broadway shows, two amazing dinners, admission to the Empire State Building Observatory and admission to one of the amazing New York City museums.

The beautiful New York Hilton is conveniently located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan NY Blog Pic 1and is within walking distance from New York’s premier attractions such as Time Square, Radio City Music Hall, Fifth Ave shopping, the Broadway Theatre District, the Museum of Modern Art and many more iconic New York City landmarks. Did I also mention it is close to the vibrant New York City nightlife?

We will be attending two Broadway shows. The Book Of Mormon will be one of the shows. NY Blog Pic 2This play is a religious satire musical. The Book of Mormon tells the story of two young Mormon missionaries sent to a remote village in Northern Uganda where a brutal warlord is threatening the local population. Naïve and optimistic the two missionaries try to share the Book of Mormon but have trouble connecting with the locals who are more worried about war, famine, poverty and AIDS than about religion.NY Blog Pic 3

We are still working on securing tickets to the second play. One could be Rock of Ages or Jersey Boys. Rock of Ages channels every totally “RAD” 80’s cliché and is superfluous NY Blog Pic 4silliness at its best. You may have seen the movie. Jersey Boys tells the story of how Fankie Valli and The Four Seasons went from being unknown New Jersey kids to international pop superstars. The show features over thirty beautifully sung tunes including Sherry, Big Girls Don’t Cry and Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.

NY Blog Pic 5You will love our planned dinners. They are totally different experiences. We will board the World Yacht for an extraordinary voyage on the Hudson, with New York City as the backdrop and aNY Blog Pic 6 glamorous venue as our setting. We will savor Mouth-watering cuisine and cocktails, dance the night away or just bath in the city’s dazzling skyline.

Our second planned dinner will flavor a “Bit o’ the Irish”. Langan’s Bar & Restaurant is located right off Broadway and close to Time Square. We might just run into some of the cast members that we have seen or will see at our Broadway shows!

Included in the trip is admission to the Empire State Building Observatory. The Empire State Building embodies the feeling and spirit of NYC. It is recognized not only as an iconic landmark offering some of the most spectacular views on earth, but also as an internationalNY Blog Pic 8 symbol of shared hopes, dreams and accomplishments. Also included is admittance to one of the outstanding museums which might include the New York Historical Museum, Museum of Modern Art and American Museum of Natural History.

We will also have some personal time to enjoy the city on our own, to shop, see additional NYC icons OR just rest , relax and watch the New York life go by.

This extraordinary trip is priced at $1,898 per person and for double occupancy. You will need to add airfare to the total price.
