Money may talk, but talking about money can suck.
At least that’s what I used to think.
But if you want to get it, you have to talk about it. Fact. You have to talk about it to the people who can give it to you. Your employer, your prospective employer or your clients, for example.
I was once deathly afraid of having conversations about money. This got me in a lot of trouble and cost me a lot of dollars (potentially half a million of them).
Eventually, in the spirit of self-preservation, I got over it… Join me over on the blog and I’ll tell you all about it. It wasn’t such a huge drama after all. Nothing compared to what I’d built up in my head.
