The dreaded pink month of October is upon us. Why do I dread the pink month? Because it is based on a lie that misleads thousands of women to hop onto the Breast Cancer Conveyer Belt. The Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) does nothing but encourage women to have their breasts radiated with mammograms, which will lead to thousands of women being mistreated and misdiagnosed.

In spite of the mass media frenzy to promote the Pink Movement, I do know that there are many women that are very sincere in reaching out and helping out other women. Occasionally, some women do discover their Breast Cancer with mammography and therefore they are very supportive of the industry. But ultimately, one must look beyond the propaganda and examine the facts.

In brief, this is how the BCAM got started: Charlotte Haley, now 69 years old, wanted to get the National Cancer Institute’s attention after her mother, sister and daughter all developed Breast Cancer. She folded salmon colored ribbons and attached a card saying: “The National Cancer Institute annual budget is $1.8 billion, only 5 percent goes for cancer prevention. Help us wake up our legislators and America by wearing this ribbon”.

Estee Lauder noticed how much attention Charlotte was getting so she approached her about joining forces with her to raise money for Breast Cancer, while promoting her toxic perfumes and skin products. Well, Charlotte quickly saw where that was headed and refused her offer. Estee Lauder stole the ribbon idea and changed the color to pink….and you know the rest of the story.

The next instigator of BCAM was the mega pharmaceutical company Astra Zeneca and Imperial Chemical Industry who initiated this yearly campaign.

The very companies that are producing toxic chemicals and chemotherapy (Tamoxifen and Arimidex) are encouraging women to have their breasts radiated and compressed. This has led millions of women to face unnecessary mastectomies, lumpectomies, chemotherapy and radiation.

I think Dr. Samuel Epstein, a medical researcher of occupational and environmental medicine at the University of Illinois School of Public Health says it best:

“This is a conflict of interest unparalleled in the history of American medicine.

You have got a company that’s a spin-off of one of the world’s biggest manufacturers of carcinogenic chemicals, they have control of breast cancer treatment and they have got control of chemoprevention.

They have got control over the public message of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which focuses on detection and not prevention”.

If you doubt the connection, go the NBCAM web site and go to the contact page. Guess who you connect with when you share your contact information:

I prefer to refer to this month as BREAST HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH – BHAM! True prevention comes from Breast Health Awareness which involves The 7 Essential System:

1.)  Enjoying GMO-free, pesticide free,  organic food

2.)  Reducing toxic exposures from every day products

3.)  Balancing your hormones and energy

4.)  Learning how to manage stress and healing your emotions

5.)  Learning about the dental-cancer connection

6.)  Incorporating powerful herbs and nutrients to boost the Immune System

7.)  Practice REAL early detection with Thermography and specific sensitive blood tests

Billions of dollars are raised under pretense for a “cure”, when the cure already exists in the form of many herbal supplements like curcumin, blood root, venus fly trap, laetrile, CBD or cannibidiol from hemp, and more.

The Breast Cancer Action is an organization that is dedicated to end the Breast Cancer epidemic and to speak the truth about the causes of Breast Cancer.  This group of fearless women does not accept donations from large corporations that support toxic therapies. Their “Think Before You Pink” campaigns have raised awareness around the globe about the politics of Breast Cancer and the medically driven pink ribbon campaigns.
